I wanted to share a prayer request for my mom, Mari.
A few years ago she had a noncancerous brain tumor removed through radiation and surgery. They were able to get most of it but a small amount is left on a portion of her optic nerve in an area they cannot reach. The doctor had said that although it is not currently cancerous it can grow and become cancerous. The last few years since that surgery, fear has dangled over her.
She was admitted to the hospital yesterday after being unable to easily wake. My sister had to yell and shake her. This could have been caused by a few things that they are trying to rule out like stroke, medication side effects or taking the wrong medication etc. but because of the pre existing tumor every ER trip is very scary for her with lots of tests.
Would you all pray with me that the next time she has an MRI there will be no trace of the tumor? I just want her free from the report that has wrapped her in fear and I want that thing gone.
She is home now and all tests are coming back clear. But this fear of the tumor becoming cancerous needs to go and so does the tumor!
